Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

I think that's another fuse but I can't find which on the diagrams... It sounds sort of like this viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12736&p=112928&hili ... ng#p112928 maybe worth a look. I don't think the lift pump fuse will have gone because it felt depressed :(

Hi tonko0007, your plight reminded me of this article about Peugeot Towbar wiring http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_112936/article.html

Personally, I never hook up with the engine running/circuits energised because of the potential for a "back EMF" - essentially a power surge to blow components - the same reason that I don't "hot plug" computer components unless they're specifically designed to be hot-plugged (USB for example).

I hope that you managed to trace your blown fuses successfully.
Good luck.
Now if I can just fit the mods from "Taxi" http://tinyurl.com/3yug4g3

I can provide PP2000/Lexia 3 code reading/clearing in the East Cornwall/West Devon area.
