If you do replace the O2 sensors I'd go genuine BM one's those Universal types don't seem much cop on quality cars.

You might want to think about changing the gearbox AND diff oil (unless its been done recently).

Engine and box mounts might not be too bad, BMW are good at setting out things so you can get to them (famous last words) but I mean they don't do 'after thoughts' like some makers.

Secretly, I've always hankered after a 530 Sport so one of these 'ere 540's would also be nice - look forward to some pics :mrgreen:

I'd love a big engine'd bruiser. My insurance is comming down like a ton of bricks so I'm thinking of buying a late Mondeo ST220 and fitting it with LPG :roll:

My 17-year old lad will begin driving soon (once he can be arsed :roll: :? ) so the 530i might be fine for his first car, you think the insurance will be reasonable? on a tight budget here..............
