I've always said the 406 is very easy when it comes to MOT's, there's rarely any major issues, even the handbrake (which we all think is pants) usually scrapes through :|

Your Petrol engine is supremely reliable and simple so I'd hang on to it if your on a budget or in no rush to change up.

2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work

I am to be honest, quite surprised that mine had one issue, that said I did fix two issues before the MOT ..... :)

Well done!

Good luck for you :)
Handbrakes really are a sore subject for these 406's aren't they?

Oddly, when I first got the car I realized the handbrake was not holding what so ever - which led to some incredibly hair moments I can tell you.
Left the old man, NOT done ANY work on the handbrake and now it's working perfectly.

Self-healing car.

Funny you mention the handbrake he said 406s are in his words shite :but if I go back when he isnt busy he will adjust it free of charge  I have no intentions of getting rid yet and if I do in the future I will buy a later model 8)
