Central Locking & Airbag problems... Help!?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Central Locking & Airbag problems... Help!?

Post by MrChips »

Central Locking & Airbag problems

All this started with the airbag fault, wish I'd just left it!!

The central locking is not working in anyway now, not even with the key in the lock... Says in the handbook to see the main dealer... Guessing I will need a PP2000?

The airbag light is on and according to the auto electrician that came out to sort the immobiliser it is code 7 side module trigger.

Looking forward to your input.

I reckon the central locking is due to the immobiliser fault you had because the chap that did mine with the pp2000 had to do something to get my locking to work after he had cleared the immob fault.

It was just the BSI reset that did the trick.

That's lucky! I always think the BSI reset procedure is one step from dancing round an oak tree at midnight with your draws off  so it's good to hear it has some merit.
