installing a towbar on '99 glx

i have just got a tw bar for my 406 and am after some info on installing the wiring.

have read that it needs a special wiring kit, is this true? also has anyone got a list of the wires that need to be connected?

No it does not need a special wiring kit, i just used one of the cheap ones from Towesure. It should come with a relay that powers the indicators and makes an audible warning. You will get full instructions with the kit which tells you which wires to connect to. It took me about 1 hour to wire it up.
