my love of Peugeots started at a young age, and I got my 1st 406 when I was just a teen.. it was a 1/10 RC car of the German 406 super touring car but still...

loved it still got it too!
i've thumbnailed the pics, just click on them to make bigger!
when I turned 21 (as a guage of how long this has been going on i'm 28 now

that was it when i bought it in 2006
I'll try not bore you its a very very long story but over time i've stripped it to a bare shell and rebuilt it, here is some high lights
1st mod was a hard top

then tan leather interior

some tan bits added to it (gear/hand brake gatior, dash board and hood cover)

twin exit exhaust (standard quite though)

lowered (a long with thicker anti roll bars fitted), hard top painted, 306 hatchback side skirts fitted and 17inch OZ wheels painted white and fitted:

406 coupe brembos with braided brake lines

i bought a MOT failure fit for scrap 306 S16 doner car

306 S16 engine fitted

gti6 exhuast manifold fitted

mirror polished gti6 inlet manifold fitted

5 speed gearbox swapped for 6 speed box

black fabric roof swapped for a green fabric roof

and all was well till i crashed it in 2011

the body took a beating, the timing belt snapped and the rear beam was bent

i swapped the beam with one with thicker torsion bars than the standard cabriolet ones

got the car jigged strait again replacement bumper was smoothed off

got the front bumper smoothed as well, sides are removed but not smoothed yet

then on to the engine
striped to a bare block

painted

swapped the standard crank for a longer throw one

got the standard cam shaft reprofiled with a longer duraton and higher lift

rebuilt the oil pump using all new parts, gti6 oil sump and replaced the gti6 inlet with throttle bodys

painted the gearbox then refitted

1st test drive (the rattling is the exhaust really it needs a new exhaust)

just after the crash i bought another of my childhood dream cars as a replacemnt while the 306 was off the road
my 406 coupe

V6 of course

i love the coupe as it is but i just cant leave things alone, so 1st mod was a D9 center console with cup holders

then swapped the black leather for red

retro fitted cruise control to it
D9 silver handbrake button and heater vents

electric rear windows

i found an official peugeot spoiler in a scrap yard in the smme colour as my 406 so i just had to

bought highlanders hoggers

redyed the glovebox, centre console, underside of the dash board on the drivers side red the same colour as the seats, at the same time i fitted the ash wood dash trim, black saloon vents/dial surrounds and some silver door handles

i then replaced the hoggers with nautilus wheels

and thats all i've done mod wise, done a ton of maintenance like replaced all the rubber parts, rebuilt the brembos, braided brake lines etc etc
not owned a saloon yet but i really want an SRI or executive turbo... and who knows what may might happen

I also have my heart set on a 505 gti, a v6 or 2.2hdi 607, another 406 coupe for a track car and i wouldnt say no to a face lifted RCZ....

i was however given a genuine 406 touring car team jacket (green/gold) from a friend of mine who worked for peugeot during the 80's/90's and early 2000's as a thanks for sorting him out with a free gti6 rear beam for this 306
