XUD11 engine wont start

There was an AA patrolman on another forum who able to supply key codes, immobiliser codes and radio codes for a fiver, wish I could remember which forum. My 1997 406 however was too old for him to obtain the immo code, may be the case for the mk1 models. If you have the keypad in the car and manage to get it started, pull the plug out of the back of the keypad and that will disable it.

I got a key out from the UK and had an agent get it to mate up to the car.
Problem solved but i still have a surging issue that i mentioned in an earlier thread.
Still great to get to the bottom of it cheers to everyone that helped.
My ex was going to scrap the car.

Don't you have a plastic card with a code on it?

Out of the six 406s (1997-2001) I've bought, none have had that card
