you need the cut off the immobilliser stop solenoid shield to get to the fuel screw, which involves removing the pump, so its not as easy to tune as a 306 1.9td
FAQ - 406 D8 petrol (excl. V6) running and starting problemsPeugeot wrote:what are you worried about? we made car that lasted 10 years"..."Zat is very goode non?

Re: turbo and fuel pump
Turbo Yes Fuel no need... providing you do not exceed 1 bar (100kpa) This is the ECU's max boost limit over this results in overboost protection. Fuel / Spark Cut! actually fully diverts all boost pressure to the WCS wastegate control solinoid.andybee wrote:has any turn up the turbo and fuel pump and on what motor?
If you want to exceed 1 bar then a crude way is FSE PBV with a penumatic Fuel Cut Defencer.. if you get the PBV buy the guage so you can tweak the max fuel rail pressure. You could also use some larger bosch injectors... from a Punto GT or similar.. 330cc as long as the injectors are rated around the 16 Ohm mark.
