Re: Respect da "pug"
Guess my bro's 1.9 was fairly well loaded the day we trailered my daughter's 307 back from St Albans. It still had the boot crammed with all his plumbing kit, a fair bit inside the car, plus two of us and the dog. Still climbed hills well. Going down them was 'interesting' tho.

Re: Respect da "pug"
I see Doggy's continuing his holiday the way it started
Few weeks back i went to collect 4 full length mirrored wardrobe doors i had no idea how big they were going to be so took the roof bars and loads of straps to tie them on if need be.
Well it was howling with wind and pissing down and as soon as i saw them there was no way they'd go on the roof the wind would either bend them up to snappage or the weight of the overhang would make them snap on the first speed bump.
So i had to slide each one over the top of the passenger seat and onto the dashboard and i only just managed to close the boot.
Well i gingerly drove the 25 miles home slowly crapping myself at every creak or scrape... Never again.

If you look carefully, you'll see an old blue towel under the wood, in the 2nd pic.

Oh THAT.............
Um - so what's protecting the BOOT?
Honestly boys, haven't you heard about using protection? It is cheap enough to get a nice sheath to protect the inners from harm.......
