Citroen Picasso - Exhaust Heat Shield?

Noticed a rather loud rattle from underneath the Picasso the other day, had a look and it looks like some kind of heat shield which appears to be above the cat is loose, I think so anyway, its in the middle almost directly below the front seats. It's sheared off from the bolts on either side, they are still screwed into the chassis, but I don't think I can just bend it/break it/ pull it off. Would it possible to somehow stick it back to its original position? Had a look on ebay for a new one but couldn't find anything. If I can get it off, is it likely to cause any damage if I don't put another one on?

Can you not drill some holes and screw it back to the floor with self tappers?

Get the bolts out.
And then use some big washers, /spacers.

Edit. Jasper5 suggestion may work better.
