The ongoing topic of stickers

Post by Benner »

Hi all,

I have made a few enquiries and have found a company in Farnham, Surrey that would be willing to make our car stickers for us and they would even set up a site so that everyone can purchase them from them directly. (could set up a link so they could be found easily)

The company is http://www.thecarsticker.co.uk and the owner emailed me with this http://www.thecarsticker.co.uk/html/baby_bmw.html as an example. I did mention about getting a peugeot logo with the web address running next to it as an example, and he mentioned how the logo may cause probs with copyright etc. So does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on what the design should be?

He also mentioned how we could get the sticker and below it have our usernames if we wanted.

Let me know if you are interested and I can start the ball rolling, from the example I have included we will be looking at roughly £5 for a basic 1 through to £7 for 1 with username on. This is inc VAT and p+p.

I seriously doubt Peugeot would do anything as ludicrous as to stop an owners club using the logo! Heck, it's damn good extra advertising for the brand, as you would hardly find a disgruntled "I'm going to scrap this and never buy PSA again" owner proudly paying for and displaying a sticker! :)

If you're in any doubt, get Niz or someone to check with Peugeot marketing.

I'd definitely be up for one though. Probably 2 actually - one for each rear side window on my estate cos I don't particularly want my view obstructed with one in the rear. A bit smaller (ie. less conspicuous) would probably suit a lot of 406 owners better I think too.
