He was talking 3.5k 18 months ago so he obviously thinks cars don't depreciate with age,i paid 14 hundred quid for mine and it's higher spec than that and still worth not far off that now so i'm glad I never pushed him to sell it,that caravan in the drive hasn't moved for longer than I can remember and he thinks that's worth a fortune too.

He's a lost cause then........ that poor car. I can't believe the engine still hasn't been properly run in. What a f*cking waste.

Yes, been there a couple of times before so knew what it was all about. Still hate the dodgy roads up that way, called in at the cider farm on the way home. Have you been there Scotty? My ex husband and I used to take our trailer tent, then the tourers - but he's still got my tourer, not that I could tow it anyway, so I am having to slum it in a tent.................

I've been to a cider farm not far from there it's on a bend in an orchard we had some nice hot chilli cheese there too last year t'was luvly stuff.

I was going to site my caravan on Diamond farm about 6 years back i quite liked the idea of fishing the estuary at the back.

Ah right - yes, they've put in some pump now to pump water through to the main water part, problem is - with the flash flooding we had while there, there was just no where for the water to go, even the weir was on the edge, that said = they should of opened the weir more.

Never really had a problem with diamond farm but I admit they have had some shady people in...........

Not too happy I found another cable tie earlier..



Not happy that the centre bolt at the front of the sump guard snapped as I was taking it out - so even I had to do a cable tie job.....


Not exactly sure which pipes these are and why they are covered in what appears to be oil:


I had suspected it was something to do with the power steering fluid, but upon wiping, it looks like oil:

My car has so many leaks, I've given up trying to sort them all.

You seem to spend more time under your car rather than in it. Your favourite position perhaps? Dunno...

yea,mine also is covered with oil,entire engine bay.
I belive that pipes from the steering wheel goes down under so it could be that leaking there,in my case small drops of servo oil are dripping on PAS belt.

I just like driving her knowing I have all I possibly can to keep her in tip top shape, however at the moment all that's gone to bloody pot. I was only under there trying to LOOK at the starter motor to see which one I have.....

I must admit I have another oil pool forming on the gearbox. I really need to trace these pipes to see where they are getting leaked onto...........

Ok let's start off by saying that I picked up the leather interior and trim on Thu 15th Aug.
I have noticed when ever I put a lot of fuel in Miss Pug, we're talking £30-40 she seems really economical. We got to London and she only dropped 50miles range.
I have also noticed that when the tank is getting low, about 80 mile range, the fuel is used up rather quickly, one minute she's reading 80 miles, the next minute it's 30 miles with the light on...........

Here is Miss Pug at the M25 services on our way back. Someone had to stretch his legs...


As I said to Rwb, someone is under the illusion that my rear O/S quarter window will be sticker bombed

This should be easy enough, it has the old plug on it:


Rear electric windows however, could pose a challenge: (at a guess, solder the connection in, to me this does not look a simple plug as is on the front, OR try to take out the switch and replace it with mine?)

I thought you already had electric rear windows in yours? The door lights are easy enough to wire up, but don't bank on getting them working. Never managed to get them activated on mine even though the wiring was there & somebody activated it on Peugeot Planet for me.

Interesting, I do have electric windows all around, but unsure how to get the switches out of the back door cards.. Think I need to remove the handle, can't see ANY screws that are holding it in place though?!

That's because there aren't any screws. It's a little spring clip at the top & bottom of the switch. Just stick a very thin flat blade screwdriver in the bottom & it should prise out easily enough.

You are right.... I managed to get the whole switch out.. I tried a little push that acheived nothing much at all, so gave it a good heeve-ho. It came flying out
Will see which switch is in better condition (this came off a newer car) and put back in....
