Welcome :cheesy:

Good of you to say hi before asking for help, but do feel free now :) Also can be a good idea to put your car's year, engine, spec etc in your signature.

thankyou all for your nice welcome yes i am a rugby fan but of the 13 a side variety its proper rugby from wakfield orginally you see but i did watch the local boys beat cardiff the weather was atrocious lol

ok first thing i need help with is.........
my cigarete lighter wont work i have checked the fuses in all the right places and i have had the damn thing out of the console and wd40'd it and wire wooled it to try and get it going, the reason im so anxious to get it going is im going on holiday on friday only to pontins at prestatyn and id like to have my sat nav app working on my tablet with it being continually charged otherwise it might mean i get lost if the tablet switches off due to no battery.
is there any way i can make a quick link with a circuit i.e circuit blocks so i can get an electric point and power my stuff?

Hmm, do you have a D8 or D9? That's going to make a difference for wiring.

I'm sure you've double checked the fuse, but having fixed the exact same problem on my D8 just last month (after having already check the wrong fuse umpteen times) I'll just confirm that it's the 10A fuse that is between the two banks of fuses by the drivers right knee....
