engine fan fuse

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

engine fan fuse

Post by davew »

i'm getting my 110hdi remapped by "hdi-tuning" by using the file service, i've got the galletto 1260 software and leads and have read the ecu and saved a copy no problem at all but what i did notice is that when the software was reading the ecu the engine fans come on at full blast it didn't seem to cause a problem and i've heard it's normal for them to come on, i'm just a bit worried that when i'm uploading the remapped file it might cause a problem so i thought i would just pull the fuse to the fans but i can't find it, anyone know which fuse it is :)

Don't worry, my fans cut in every time it is plugged in to Galetto and it has been remapped several times ( thanks Eric ) - it seems a common thing on newer models... :cheesy:

ok thanks guys i think i will just leave it alone and just let the fans run, i'm having a few issues with the lead so it looks like i will have to send it back for a replacement.
