Re: v6 saloon
I think you need 16" wheels to clear the (bigger) discs and calipers.
Oh and earplugs to mask the seemingly inevitable squeaking.

Re: v6 saloon
Doggy is right, if you want the V6 ( Brembo ) brakes you will need the disks and the calipers to go with it. The disks are bigger and would hit standard calipers.
16" wheels are needed ( Hoggars, Starfish, Nautilus and 'some' Nimrods are all Peugeot wheels and are 16" )

All of the above (including the squealing).
Unless you're doing track days the 283mm disks are more than adequate, upgrading to Brembos always seems like too much hassle to me.

Re: v6 saloon
Interesting, you guys get squealing too?
I always assumed that the reason the 306 guys who fit them get squeal was due to the disc offset being slightly different than the 406.

Re: v6 saloon
Im about to chuck some Brembos and 305mm discs onto mine, got my fingers crossed that it doesnt squeal, as I have heard some people don't get any squealing.
But another thing you need when putting coupe Brembos on are the brake lines from the Brembos as the standard calipers use a different fitting, so thats a good excuse to get braided hoses

Re: v6 saloon
while I'm asking questions lol.
what happens if you drop out the middle box on the exhaust system, I'm assuming its just a resonator chamber to quieten it down?
and how tolerant is the ecu of having a induction kit fitted? or is it a remap?
I'm used to motorbikes, power commanders and dyno jet kits lol

Re: v6 saloon
Fit an induction kit; the ECU won't throw a hissy fit.
Once you've got the induction kit and any exhaust mods fitted, then you might want to get the engine remapped anyway (not by someone with a KWP2000 and a generic remapped ECU image) - use a guy in a workshop who has the knowledge and experience required to tune your car's engine, and who has a Dyno to show you the power and torque readings, before & after.
Expect to pay bigger sums of money for this, but it's much more likely to end up with you getting a safe remap that still gets the best out of the induction/exhaust mods.
