Yes, Steve, I reckoned as he said he'd done hundreds of these he would have it done whilst I was still thinking about it

Indicators are as solid as a rock...nice tight feel to them just like my van ones are.
The guy said he does a lot for taxi guys who manage to make them last 2 years, not bad considering how much use a taxi gets!

Re: New Project
I must admit, I did a lot of faffing about when I swapped mine because I hadn't got much idea what I was doingjasper5 wrote:Yes, Steve, I reckoned as he said he'd done hundreds of these he would have it done whilst I was still thinking about itTurns out he had the whole unit off in about 10 minutes, stripped it down, did something with the springs and replaced some plastic blocks by the looks of it....not much more than 30 minutes and all done and tested.....well worth the £10 for him to strip it out and the £20 to do the repair.

Re: New Project
Hi Jasper, things are a little different down south - most of the local taxi drivers can make their indicator stalk last for years, they are all as good as new, its almost like they've never been used.......

1998 Volvo 940 auto estate - also mine
2019 Citroen C3 something - the wife's

I never ever ever swear at other Peugeot drivers.
BUT today, some **** in a 306 came to a roundabout (she was to my right), so we all stopped for her, turns out she was turning first left so we had a clear road - I swore at her pointing down to her indicators telling her to ''use the effing things'' and proceeded to call her a 'silly b!tch'

Re: New Project
Next job is the stupid keys....despite several attempts using all sorts of different methods listed here and in other forums I cant get the keys to synch to the car so that the remote locking works with the fob....work fine key in door, but not with fob
Should I be reprogramming via PP2000?

We had this on a recent thread, as it turned out the chap pressed the key when about an inch from the receiver and it seemed to sort itself out.....
