Left or right ?
Hello all….I`m just about to order a diif/gearbox oil seal for my 2000 HDi 110. It’s the driver’s side seal…just pushes in…but when looking to order I have to choose left or right side. This depends on which way round I’m looking at the gearbox…any help would be appreciated.

Re: Left or right ?
The long driveshaft is described as RIGHT and the short, LEFT, so that has to be from the driver's perspective.
Also, the right hand diff oil seal is 32x50-10, (I/D x O/D - thickness), Left is 40x58-10, so you should be able to confirm that way too.

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
