Failed Odometer Digit
Please see below for my odometer workaround in the event of a failed digit.

i'd have changed it to a reminder to keep below 4000 rpm until the first oil change

Further plus points to this workaround are that it's proved to 100% reliable and 100% accurate !!

All sarcasm aside, has anyone had any success with fixing this? Is the faulty LCD replaceable? Although already faulty I damaged the cable taking it out too. (1998 assembled 406 2.1 Diesel estate)
