Work this one out
First time it happened back in the summer & has happened about 4 times since, when we drive diesels we don't rev them hard, anyway I had to pull away fast out of a blind junction and in 2nd I hit about 3500 and the engine cut out. Tried to restart but no go checked under bonnet for fuel hose or other fault but could not see anything anyway it still would not start and I have no idea why I did what I did, locked & unlocked via remote and it started, and this has been the same each time it has happened. Any ideas? Iain

Re: Work this one out
My old Hdi90 did this when I fitted a tuning box, I think it confused the car when over 3500 revs. I simply kept my revs low and saved diesel at the same time....
It does sound fuel related though....

Re: Work this one out
I'm pretty sure it will be the fuel pressure regulator sensing too much fuel so cutting out the engine, i've had it on my cars with quite high remaps but i've not seen it on a stock car, if you can get it on PP2000 the fault you would see would be 'Fuel High Pressure Monitoring. Maximum Pressure Exceeded'
