Breaking 2.0 8v T SRi engine some pictures added

I was working on a 406 sri engine to fit into my 306, but before i could finish the engine my pug died and I had to buy a new car (2 kids so cant really be without a car) so now i need to get rid of the engine. the problem is i currently have the engine is in bits so im considering selling it off in parts. im sceptical to sell as a complete engine as i cant garantee it will run (but i suppose thats a risk i took when i got the engine from ye old ebay). so im leaning towards just selling parts. By all means if someones confident they can get it back together and running then please say so.

i was told the engine was from a 96 406 sri with 68000(odd) miles on the clock unfortunately the breakers yard from ebay sent me no proof of this.

main parts are

-205 1.9gti cams £25

-Reconditioned 8v SRi head with standard cam never been used (from wigan engine services) - £150

-bottom end - £50 **SOLD**

-nissan s14 t28 turbo bolted to the the 406 sri exhaust manifold ( still requires modification but can explain in more detail if someones interested in a nut shell oil feed needs adapting to the t28 and new compressor clamps as the t28 ones foul the wastegate actuator (due to the bracket for the t28 actuator - £100

- machined flywheel inner lip on the mating surface has been machined off - £30

- other engine parts such as boost pipes, ecu, inlet manifold(metal), inlet manifold (plastic) fuel rail and so on

will get pictures tonight all part will be collection so buy can inspect plus due to weight of most parts

£300 and you can take the lot. the one thing i forgot to mention was that ive got the engine loom but the multiplugs have been cut off as i was putting it in a 306

I'd take £200 for what's left only thing that's been sold is the bottom end, sold, still got the reconditioned head, turbo, 205 1.9 gti cams, ECU (locked), Loom with the multi plugs cut off, steering pump, alternator, Ac compressor and the machined flywheel

Form what I can see in the text & the piccy theres still quite a lot of work to be done, this is not a straight forward bolt on & go

Well,i didnt had the chance to check my turbo but i belive its seized so i was thinking this is a great chance.
It depends how much engineering is involved here,my is a 2.0 8v turbo engine 1997,i belive the same as this one.

Looking at the local prices for turbos,i could buy an boeing 747,bloody expensive bastards

Shaft has minimal play probably about 1mm if that I'd imagen it would be less once oils flowing through it. Blades on the turbines look fine no damage. As for finishing it off, off the top of my head needs an oil feed as the screw thread on the sri oil feed is different could possibly get an adaptor if you can find out the thread sizes., New compressor clamps as the t28 ones foul the actuator bracket on the stock sri maifold, and adaptors for the inlet and out of the compressor housing to allow push fit houses for the intercooler as the t28 uses blot on fittings. That's as much as I know but i suspect as with most other diy mods other things do intend to appear. I'll be honest though im looking at collection only

Hi I am looking for a 406 Sri turbo engine loom and unlocked ecu (ecu not and biggie) but really need a loom but can't find one anywhere please help !! Thanks Charlie

I do have the ECU but it isnt unlocked i also have the loom but ive cut off the multiplugs as i was planing on wiring it up to multi plugs of a 306
