Well I finally put V-Power into my 406 yesterday. What a difference in power, my god my car is now like a rocket!
Goes like sh*t off a shovel. However the downside appears to be that the MPG aint as good according to the trip computer and the mileage I can get out of a full tank appears to be a lot less.
Added it to my Mi16 the other week whilst away visiting friends (cant get it round here, boooo!) and I thought that i could feel a def improvement driving wise, and i reckon my mpg was up as well! Best of both worlds!!!
You silly sausage Pris, your MPG is down cos your giving it the beans feeling all that extra powAh.......
In theory high octane fuels should return slightly more MPG, if the fuel is burning with 3% more energy then you should need 3% less input, if you like.
Wear plimsoles instead of lead boots

Which means it should cost no more than 3% more than regular stuff to make it value for money if you don't nail it every day ;)
Yes I do have a bit of a lead right foot, although it appears to be miles better for the engine, so if it means absorbing the cost of more expensive fuel but having a nice clean engine then its got to be worth it.
Theoretically it should use less but to be honest I dont really notice it - Also here it costs around 10-15 cents per litre more than 95 ron so in my book being a poor student...its not really worth my while!

Diesel is around $1.35 AUD per litre - It's more expensive than Petrol here!!!
I drive Petrol anyways....I don't do the miles to warrant getting a Diesel
