This fecked up country in which we live

Post by scotty73 »

Lets have a light hearted look at this.

This post is inspired by an article i just saw Sonia post on fb about a woman who took her own life after her benefits stopped.

I'll be as brief as possible.
Many of you will know that a year ago I attended a incapacity tribunal which I won and then was put on esa, well lading up to the tribunal (almost 2 years of it) i let it get to me sooo bad i almost drank myself to death, even after winning it i found it impossible to stop until earlier this year i was hospitalised and I've sorted myself out.

The stress from these fuckers though never ended they gave in one hand but only for two months then i got a letter saying "your wife works it's up to her to provide for you but we will continue paying your ni"

Thankyou very much.... Well 10 months after losing approx £450 per month i get another letter Saturday.

Dear Mr James please find enclosed your esa assessment for work forms we must recieve the completed forms by 25th December 2013 or your money WILL stop.

Errr for any of you who didn't fall asleep there did you read what i said above? What a f*cking joke.

It's a joke mate basically i could be putting myself through months of being messed about again just for them to pay my NI, The only chance i ever have of getting any money out of them is if i declare myself homeless... Or the wife boots me out (same outcome)

Do I really want the agro? i might just wait for them to phone after the expected date and tell them where to go.

How did you get off with the cardboard box lifting escapade?

Hey hold on, my best mate is an empty cardboard box lifting operative (4th year apprentice) and it's bloody hard work; he regularly feels quite tired after his 3 hour shift and says his 1 hour lunch break just isn't enough sometimes. Bloody slavery.

When he comes back from Barbados in January I'm going to have to tell him about this thread so he can defend himself properly.

Just apply back for it and see what Happen's. even if you just end up getting your Ni contributions paid its better than nothing.
once you get E.s.A throw an application in for D.L.A no its not dla anymore that's been scrapped. its now P>I>P.
even if you get the lowest rate on that.its better than nothing.

The problem with this country is there are too many undeserving individuals taking out and not enough putting in. This results in those who genuinely deserve help not getting it. The way we treat some of our elderly people is disgraceful, meanwhile I heard Jeremy Vine interviewing a 78 year old man who was getting a sex change.
Jeeze. Stop the planet I want to get off.
