Hi All.

I have the oppurtunity to buy a 2001 Y reg one of these for £1800 which seems a very good price. It has 87k on the clock with history
and mot and taxed, in good condition.

Does any one have any views or comments on this model as it seems quite a rare car as did not seem to be in production for very
long, was there any reason for this?

Thanks

it wasnt very popular as it wasnt a nice car, it had a nasty interior, and a lame 2.2 16v engine, ok it had 160bhp but was nothing compared to the old sri turbo 406, and its insurance group and fuel economy wasnt far off a V6 so most people just went for the V6, that price seems to cheap in my opinion, a car of that age should be arround £3k easily

It wasnt a bad engine, it just didnt set the world on fire. Its certainly much more refined than the old turbo engine and more powerful than the 2.0.
