injectors spring to mined knowing the rep they have for them as thay are calibrated and this is then put into the ecu, so as they where they fall out of calibration and this then leads to black smoke, hesitation and other problem but i am jumping to conclusions

what year and all the rest is it

yep all the signs that you may need an injector rebuild or replacement, just make shore you are sitting down when you phone for a quote. do all the checks you can just to save some moneys before you decide what do to with it i.e. checking for split pipes and blocked filters

As it's a Mondeo I suggest signing up to the talk ford forums! Have a good look ink EGR blanking as it will more than likely cure your hesitation.

Just purchased egr blanking plate so hopefully hesitation will stop and mpg will come back up
how easy are the plates to fit do you need any sealant

Me and Dai disabled the EGR on a friend on his MK3 a few months back!

Although we didn't buy a blanking plate. We did the manly thing and made our own out of a sheet of steel!
There was sparks, loud noises, drawn blood etc etc

That sounds like the sort of stupid thing I'd do, spend ages making something up when I could've bought one for almost nothing :frown:

There is still a slight hesitation but fuel economy is crap there doesn't appear to be much boost from turbo
could the pipe that comes from the bottom of egr to the intercooler be split cos not got the funds to take to a garage as i am enforced sick from work
any help would be appreciated
thanks

Yep, a split pipe or boost leak is a good possibility.

Very common for the TDCi to have split intercooler pipes, the one at the driver's side being the main culprit.
