Temp/fuel economy Display

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Temp/fuel economy Display

My display has been difficult to read since i have bought my car, is it possible to fix myself? No lines are missing just seems bright all over obscuring the readingImage

What do you suggest?

Do th D9 displays use the same twist lock style bulbs?
Maybe someone fitted the wrong replacement back light bulb?

Yes they are twist in bulbs but they are the correct ones

Even with no lights the screen is the same. It looks like the lights accentuate it. There is definitely some thing wrong with the layers of plastic and LCD because i took it apart and the plastic layer with lcd between has a look of age or like they are melted together too much. Can these be fixed like a smart phone screen?

I've no idea what's happened there, but I think your display might've had it :(

Happily as GM said, they're £10-15 on eBay
