Recommend anti roll bar please
Hi all,
Since the anti roll bars are useless on Peugeots and wear very easily, can someone recommend a decent brand for the front of mine? (I'm certain it's these going over small road bumps, tappy/knocky).
I've a 406 Rapier Estate, 2.0 HDi 90Bhp.
There are so many on eBay but I just never know if they are worth it - despite them being so cheap.

You mean the anti roll bar link rods?(drop Links)
I use mostly First Line suspension parts, very strong and very good quality, never had a customer come back with a faulty one.

I was gonna say, the ARB's themselves are absolutely fantastic in Peugeots.
Re: Recommend anti roll bar please
Cheers. If I replace the anti roll bar drop links, tracking generally required?

There are a couple of good threads on here, e.g., viewtopic.php?f=27&t=18692
Here's my old and new link.

The ones you want have two pleats in the boot and a hex in the end of the bolt. (New one.)
The ones you don't want have no pleats in the boot and a flat next to the end of the boot. (Old one.)

The hex is for holding it still with a hex key while you tighten/loosen the nut.
Useful fitting nice new ones but useless when trying to undo a rusted crap covered one as they just round off.
I find slicing through the boot and getting the mole grips in works or if you have one handy an angle grinder as its quick and it makes pretty sparks

As gumby says.
For fitting I prefer the hex because you're less likely to damage the boot.
For removing it's much of a muchness as either way it's molegrips job.

They were from eBay.
I'm pretty certain they're these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111214859996
It was this seller, and they were Delphi ones.
And the price has gone down since. I paid £25 for two.
