Rapier Trim

Just a quick question,

Is Rapier trim fully black or black wood like the Coupe Black/Silver Edition?

That thread still doesn't answer my question. I have already tried searching the forum for an answer and tried looking at pictures too bit non of them are up close on the trim.

It's known as Black Ash, so yes it's black wood.
Mine has it as do S & SE models from 2000 on anyway, I think the lx / glx & exec's all have wood trim unless it's been messed with of course

I take it the OP is in NZ? I don't know what's like over there but the trim levels seem quite different here and elsewhere in Europe compared to the UK.

For example my '02 Rapier has half leather seats ("Daytona braid", blue/black) and blue "brushed aluminium effect" trim. I think the trim colour varies depending on the body colour - most seem to be blue around here so it's hard to tell...

Yup, New Zealand. We don't have any Rapiers in NZ at all unless someone has specifically imported one from the UK. Almost all trim I have seen is woodgrain, mahogany, etc. Except for coupes which have the grey and the 406 STS which have some kind of bluish ones.
I ordered a Black/Silver LE trim from Ade and was wanting to get some matching trim for the door cards too but I can't get anything in NZ and its hard to find a wrecker or seller who is willing to send to NZ.

So who here can do me a big favour? I am after the 4 door trim strips in black ash (I have the dash ones already) and need it shipped to Auckland, New Zealand. I am looking at spending £50 as a budget, so if it costs less than £50 incl. shipping, you keep the rest.

I have had trouble finding any on eBay.

I have a set of black ash trims for you, with matching ashtray too.
The seller has quoted me £35 including delivery to me ( UK ). I can get this sent to you but the best price for postage to NZ is around £25 - making the total cost £60.

Is this an acceptable price?

Interesting - that's D9 2.2 petrol SRi trim over here
