Battery charging fault
I have a problem mates:
About 3 days ago a battery icon began to show up on the dashboard.
In the morning it was only when i turned steering wheel really fast and while not moving.
After some 20 minutes icon began to slowly appear and not going away only to stay on for the rest of the day.
My servo started failing so steering was really heavy.
I have replaced those brushes,than regulator and the battery icon is still showing up.
We have tested the alternator..its charging good,and the battery is new.
What could it be?

The drive belt is slipping.

Its also new and i tightened it really good,even mechanic said it was too tight.

Hokay. Something must be slowing the belt down
Start the car and get someone to turn the steering while you watch the belt. I'm not sure if your turbo has a two-piece crank pulley but that must be worth checking for,

well,put me in the cannon and launch to the Outer Limits.
Today i was scheduled to drive the car to nearby electrician to try to figure out what the heck is going with faulty battery charging.
while i was leaving my garage,the car started to judder while i was pressing and releasing clutch because i had to manouver between other cars,after that i press the clutch and turned off the car.
Clutch pedal was on the floor.
i lifted the clutch pedal with my hand and now its standing in that position,i tried to press it,nothing.
Its hard as stone...i cant press it down,bloody hell i have had enough.
I dont know even where to begin

If your clutch is the "pull" type clutch you could have a problem with the clutch release bearing having come away from the pressure plate.
Have a look what is happening with the release fork, see if it has jammed.

I forgot to mention what is the type of car involved
Its a 1997 2.0 turbo petrol version,1 year since i replaced the clutch system and master-slave cylnder.
how can i check those forks,from the underside of engine?

If you follow the clutch fluid pipe to where it joins the slave cylinder the release fork is at the point where the cylinder fits onto the gearbox at the end of the operating rod.
I haven't worked on the petrol turbo, but the hydraulic type clutches I have worked with have either been pull type (slave cylinder screwed into the gearbox casing) or the push type (clutch cylinder bolted onto the gearbox casing with 2 bolts.

The turbo has an ML5T 'box like the V6 and 2.1td so I reckon it'll be a pull type.

Thanks for your assistance,i think the cylnder is installed onto the gearbox,not inside it,i see it after removing airbox and battery clearely.
Also,i have found near this clynder,just above it,some sensor or something wchich had wires sticking out of it so it could be possible the fault for electricity.

I dont know about UK weather but here,blasted rain is keeping me inside the house all the time,didnt had the time to even look at that fork.
Been scouting internet for possible cause of clutch pedal stiffnes but you know the net...100 solutions and causes to 1 problem

Sounds exactly like what happened to my V6 following release bearing failure. The clutch release bearing has come out of the pressure plate, and these things can't be reattached - you need a new release bearing, and that's a gearbox-off job. May as well get a new clutch while you're at it
I tell a lie; you can re-attach the bearing, after bending the copper ring back into a ring shape, but you won't get it close enough to the correct size/shape for it to stay in for more than a day or so. It's not worth risking it given how long it takes to replace it.

The clutch and master-slave cylnder has few months so i will not replace that,but i was suspecting its either that fork like mates before said on this forum or this bearing.
Unfortunatly,to inspect this failure,gearbox needs to go down.
EDIT:i can move the shifter in anyy gear,while car turned off (dont know if that helps as a info)
