I've been spending and I haven't got a clue....

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Fully agree with lack of wires, be tempted on a remote if ya selling at a good price  , as for the reader, if thats at a good price and working I could be tempted as seen 1 on ebay with disc too for 44.
Been looking at navteq downloads and notice for earlier cars there is 2010/11 sat nav discs, will these not work or can I only use the 2006 disc?

I tried to download an update for my Navteq but it didn't work, although this was from a non-Navteq site.. :supafrisk: :supafrisk: :supafrisk:
I think the 406 uses RT3 Monochrome, whereas later cars use RT3 colour and RT4 ( I think )
Maybe if the 2010/2011 have a return option then maybe give it a go?

Right, went to the scrap yard and got the sat nav gps aerial, relay and cd rom bracket, although the bracket wont fit in my estate due to the housing for the 1st aid kit in there but not worried as I'll just house the cd rom in there, the rest of the wires were already there so I'm a happy bunny, roll on Friday when the rest of the gear arrives ;-)
