Saw a white Corsa while driving home from the rugby club on St. David's Day, that was the only "first day" car. Only seen a couple of others since, there was a black Fiesta and something else insignificant, got a feeling it was a small Citroen.... Of course, I could cheat here 'cos I drive past several main dealers at least twice every day, so I've been seeing 14 plates for weeks

Give it 10 months and it'll be worth £47K
Having NOT seen anything I hereby bet that the first 14'er I see is going to be so cool it'll blow you away..........I'll report back as soon as it happens, I won't cheat either if I see something sh*t then I'll tell you.

I guess you only get 6 months of that "it may be a spacky pile of crap that I've had to mortgage my wedding tackle in order to pay for but it's new!" prestige now with the wonderful new number plate system. Woo.

A bit overrated if you ask me. Porsche 911 all day long. I would imagine thats the V6 Cabriolet. Got to drive the V8R coupe a few weeks back and thats mental. Very quick, with a great 5.5 V8 lump. But 100k for a Jag?
We think Mr Maserati in the same office building as us has got himself a new Ferrari. Think it's an "F12 Berlinetta". He got it last week, but we're used to his Maserati Granturismo breaking down every other week and him having other supercar courtesy cars. He's had this Ferrari for long enough (and it's a 14 plate) that we think he's replaced it
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
I've seen loads; several nice Jaguar XF/XJ/XK models, some Range Rovers, and a Lexus something-or-other
Then I guess there are those who have personalized numberplates on brand new cars, so they are really 14-plate but would prefer to show off their expensive personalized plate than their normal "look, I got a new car" plate.

I've seen a few, mostly small cars like 308s and fiesta - nothing big or fancy, just ' affordable ' cars....
