Morning folks,
A friend of a friend is bringing his 307 round to me in the next few days as he's getting an anti polution fault followed by engine cut off.
Aparantly it starts again if you leave it for a while but obviously having the engine shut off while driving is not good.
Being a 52 plate 90 I'm assuming no DPF???
I'll run a global test on planet but just wondered what to look for mechanically if it's not sensor related?
I'd imagine an inspection of the fuel filter is first job but after that I may need suggestions.
EGR...TPS...?
Cheers as always

Re: 307 2.0 HDI 90 Issues
I have had problems with the filter in the pressure regulator of the on a couple of HP 110hp pumps although it hasn't actually stopped but reduces the performance and brings up the warning light, the filter is very fine and almost impossible to clean, as some don't have one I removed it and it works fine. Its fixed to the pump by two bolts. Could of course be the lift pump if it has one. I don't think the 90s have a DPF or a DMF for that matter.

Thanks Peter I'll bare that in mind, hopefully Planet will point me in the right direction or this may turn out to be a fishing trip.

Its always best to do that first although mine doesn't work
so its trial and error at the moment. I hope you are successful, look forward to learning the outcome.
