I do things backwards......

Post by Ady1985 »

I have had a good weekend away to Edinburgh with the better half in my trusty 406 estate. Even tho its been lowered it was still a very smooth and comfortable drive there and back.

Now as a lot of you know I've fitted the original sat nav set up in and haven't had it working as it says cd rom unreadable so I have left it for now. ANYWAY, I got back today and decided I'd take the rom drive apart and clean the lens properly, put it back together and now it works! Typical me, would of been handy as it would of saved my phone battery lmfao. Oh well, least it all works now tho :-)

Mine actually works but I couldn't read it very well because of display degradation, I got a used one of ebay for not to much money.

I got 1 from a scrappy and it was pants so that's been in for now but recently purchased 1 of eBay for £2 buy it now with pixel damage but he had no images of it working so I bought it and put it in and it's a million times better than what I had in so I can see everything barring a few linea

I must be one of the few where my Sat-nav is bob on, it changes name and directions very accurately. :cheesy:

£2 is a good result, I just sold one for £45 with a few lines and a splodge in the middle..... :supafrisk:
