headlights D8 & D9

does anyone know if headlights from a D9 will fit a D8, the fixings look similar, i need headlights for the next mot so i was thinking of upgrading to the better looking ones

From memory i think D9 ones are slightly longer and have a different taper on the run into the wing but can't be certain :?:

Nope, at least not for the quick fix you're looking for.

As mentioned, that are bigger, taper off at a different angle at and extend further toward the center line than on the D8.
You'd need a new slam panel, grill and bonnet to make them fit proper. I've seen D8s with D9 wings on them (you can tell with the position of the side repeater) so the indicator end of the unit seems to have the same lines as the D8 at least.
