If that was my missus she'd say I was parked 'too close' forcing said door-resting practice and therefore being my fault entirely.Captain Jack wrote:My girlfriend has apparently been 'resting' the door of her car on mine every time she gets in... Hence the nice straight line of scratches.
Happened to me in the car park at the gym, which is also a school (I wish the parents were as well behaved as the children). I opened my window and pointed out that she'd opened her car door into the side of my car and she said "don't start in front of my child". I said "the word you're looking for is 'sorry'". So she went and parked at the other side of the car park then went into the centre and complained about me. So then the manager came out (she'd gone by this point) to see me. Fortunately he wasn't looking for an argument (because by this point I wasn't taking prisoners) and he calmed me down a bit and that was that.Captain Jack wrote:I had exactly the same thing. Some ditzy opened her car's door into mine with some force and didn't even flinch. Stupid cow.
I'd like to, now that I've also found a small ding on the driver's door as wellrwb wrote:Anyway, any plans to repair it Alex?
