Ive emailed the seller asking what it would cost for the car if it was MOTed and taxed ready to drive home, other than a bit of welding to the back sills there doesn't seem to be anything serious in the list of things that caused it to fail.

When I first started working in 1987 the 305 was THE van/work estate to have, in diesel form they were unbeatable - literally no other manufacturer had a diesel engine anywhere near as tough. I've spent many hours up and down motorways in 305 GRD's.

He is looking £850 for the car if repaired and serviced, with an MOT and tax disk on it ready to drive home, which doesn't seem too bad.
