Morning guys sorry for the absence of late I'm not getting much t'internet time at the moment I seem to either be doing school runs at all times during the day due to Emma's gcse's or taking/organising meet up's with some very cool people... Last Wednesday she won another talent show competition (Nice cool £500 in her sky rocket for the win) and before we could even wake up the day after we we're off to record a promotional music video.
The video we understand it is for the chance later this month to sing it at West End Live (Trafalgar square) The song itself was sung on the latest children in need album by a guy called Ramin Karimloo (He's played the phantom on Broadway and the West end apparently)
The writers of the song asked Emma to record it to be promoted on social media sites and other places they have planned.
Goosbumps just writing this Well here it is hope you enjoy it and please feel free to share it.

She's got a stunning classical voice, brilliant! Been to some top end musical productions where the starts can't sing that well!
Did you record that with your phone Scotty? If so the sound quality is very impressive! If I may offer a little advice though, turn it sideways so it's "landscape", not many people have portrait orientated TVs and computer screens

Obviously talented, and if it's something that comes naturally and she enjoys it then wicked and well done!
I do have a comment to make and when I say this you must understand I know very little about proper music and singering (I can't play the song game on here as I don't know many) but I notice the 'style' of singing voice has a sort of pronounced 'warbley' sound if you get what I mean? like "you love me-e-e-e-e-e" as I said I won't pretend to understand but I have noticed talent shows on TV with the same style. Is it because it sounds better than attempting to hold a constant sound? perhaps it's always been like this? I can't honestly recall singing was always like this? and it's certainly not a negative comment either just something that catches my attention.

I'm the same as you mate but I'm learning fast... Still tone fooking deaf mind
That's not her kind of song and I was surprised when the writer asked her to do it i think he's testing her range... He also knows full well that the letter (I) as in exIst is a horrible letter to sing in a song his own wife calls it the devils vowel but he still wrote it into the song... Crafty bastard.
As for the style.... Nahh I'm grasping at straws here I'll stfu.

That's partly what I mean by "classical voice", I've always thought of that warbling as a kinda operatic style, and as a general rule I hate opera. Emma isn't overdoing the warbling though, it's just nice. Another "classical" feature is the very precise pronunciation, I notice that every "t" and "h" is sounded out, with some singers this sounds forced and therefore unnatural, but again she's nailing it. She's also got a good range and is hitting every note spot on, I'm very impressed!

That video is NOT to share please... Reason being it's the song that won her the competition last week but even though it was good enough to win she got put off at the end and her voice went... she may have 500 notes from it but to her it's embarrassing.
She beat a 24 year old fully trained opera singer on the night that i thought had won it.
