Possessed wing mirrors !!!!
Just lately every time i turn on the ignition on my D8, the wing mirrors ( glass specifically ) go thru a little dance. It looks like they go up, down, left, right and then back to where they started. Is this normal as i don't remember them alway's doing this ??.

Check the memory buttons on your seat. Sounds like one of them is stuck down as that's the behaviour you press the button. The 'possessed' act is basically it calibrating itself - finding where the ends of movement are so it can accurately reposition itself without having to remember where it was last time.
Might need a bit of contact cleaner, a disassembly, or just a few firm presses to fix it...

Cheers MJB - checked the switches and they seem to operate normally ??. Thinking back this did occur after i thought it would be a good idea ( well my daughter pleaded with me to do it !! ) to park the car under some great big waves that were crashing over the sea wall - me thinks french electrics and sea water may be having a tussle in me motor
- hopefully they will dry out
