It's an improvement. When will Peugeot pull there finger out and make class leading cars again. Looks like I will be sticking with Jap & german cars.

As a big fan of pugs, older ones that is. I would never buy a new french car again. Any pugs ending in 05's or 06's are good cars. But now, I dont even look twice at the pug badge .

I changed to german 4-5 yrs ago & compared to my 406 its been a far better car. Service costs and thats it.

We got are first jap car last year & tbh was not my choice, the wifes. Again this has been a great car. Really enjoy driving the soft roader. Selectable 4 wheel drive & ultra reliable.

Peugeot have carried over the piss-poor choice of diesel/manual options from the earlier model, the restyled it into something truly ugly.

Sadly, the only way to stand out nowadays is to be more daring...

I think it looks okay, not sure of the rear end that looks like every other car at the moment but it does look more stylish than its predecessor.

Maybe that's the difference between us, I've never been able to afford a new car, always a good few years old just when all the intrinsic problems and vast spares prices start to hit.

I guess you don't drive yours like a battering ram... Poor (i.e. cheap as possible) build quality, amazingly expensive parts... and that's not to mention all the issues it has that may or may not be due to the neglect/abuse of previous owners (surely it can't have left the factory with such an abysmal gearchange?)

I don't like the P E U G E O T badge in the front grille I don't know why they did that. And I can see THREE rows of blinding LED day runners on each side, thanks for that

The Golf is my first brand new car. Have had 3 pugs that were less than 2 yrs old but thats it. Always had a soft spot for Golf's & this one is great

As fot the X- Trail. I dont agree. Its not what you would call a refined car. More of a work horse.
It is great at being an all rounder. Seats 5. Huge boot. Flat load floor. Ticks all the boxes of a family car & more.

Not a true off roader. But we never got stuck in the floods last year.

Close, but no cigar.

Not bad looking. The squint-ier front lights are more 406-like than 407-like. Was never sure about the chrome thing on the rear doors.

Inside it looks like they've sorted out the slightly crazy user interface of the 407, but it looks dark.

Completely agree with doggy about the abysmal options for diesel manual.
