Park at My House

Post by Welly »

No not literally but has anyone used this internet-based service for parking whilst doing 'events' like football and concerts?

I'm booked in on someone's driveway in that Wembley on Friday night so I'll let you know. I signed up and registered, put my car details in and paid £20.00 to a secure thing to park on someone's drive right round the corner from the Stadium (10 minute walk max) all the reviews say it's cool and there were many spaces available in the area.

I've printed out a car parking authorisation sheet thing to stick on the dash and that should be that. I've got the householders' mobile number and instructions on where to put the car on his spacious frontage :) WCPGW?

I used it when I was visiting Manchester a couple of years ago.
Was typically cautious to get it right and not be a nuisance. Spoke to the chap on the phone. All absolutely straight forward. I don't remember actually meeting and signing stuff though.

Oo-er :o

I saw one space advertised for use where you park slap-bang in the middle of that London and leave your keys in 'reception' of a small Hotel.....they then hop in your car and shift it around during your stay as and when others turn up or when they have a big delivery........should be fine eh?

I hate that attitude; 'instant judgement' of you as in only a brand-new car deserves any recognition :frown:
