air dosers

Is it possible to map out the air dosers on the 2.2hdi been to many remapping places and thay say there not sure and all need to look personal I think thay just wanna charge me to see and then make out thay can't do it I personally can't see how there's could be a problem it's the one for the pre heater on front of engin want them gone or does anyone know where there's a good remapping place Yorkshire thanks danny

I can't help with mapping it out but if it's similar to the one on my 307 you could do what I've done and remove the main butterfly and blank the intercooler bypass.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.
