Hi guys,
I'd like to upgrade my current 4 dial cluster to a 5 dial cluster w/ oil temp. Someone on here said if you buy a used cluster, the BSI will take the higher milage value as the new value, rather than adding the two together like I thought. My (semi-mux, might be relevant) 406 currently has 102k on the clock, so if I fitted a 5 dial cluster with less than that milage on it, I take it would still read the same 102k on the new cluster if that makes sense? For semi-mux cars, is it a 2 plug config or 1 plug?
Also, how do I know if I had the required sensors for oil temp? The car is a GLX trim level if that helps?
Many thanks!
Benjamin
