Sorry, these have been transferred onto my replacement 406 - I have put the heat exchanger from the replacement 406 back onto this one to keep it running.

There may be a set floating around on the other forum though...

Its not too bad, maybe 10 - 12 lines and fading the top 5mm when warm, probably the same as a lot of others. I am tempted to keep it for the replacement car as I prefer it to the 'type B' display.

Do you mean the 'Welton panel' which is the chrome strip under the grill? Sorry, its one of about 5 things I have transferred onto my replacement....

The battery has now died on the donor car - economy mode works but not when the doors are opened and closed too frequently to activate it.....

Is there a safe, proven way to jump start the car? I know its being stripped but I need to move it to gain access to other parts I have sold. I have a battery charger but every time I use it the battery gets flatter..pffft

What about your old dead battery. Connect that up. Ju.p it. The alternator should keep you going untill you turn off

Thing is, Pugs don't like being jump started - it can affect the BSI and ECUs, so I would try to find a safer way.

I'll probably just drag it down the road and bump start it.

Yes, no problem.
I'll make a start on them soon, when I remove the bumper.

Really?

I posted it a while ago, and according to the courier company it was delivered to you on the 11th of August....?

Here is the link to check the tracking; https://www.collectplus.co.uk/track/CFTKVH2 - the postcode I sent it too was B78 1QA.

Hi Kelv,
Cheers Bud, I was on holiday then, but have checked with parcel company and they left it with my neighbour. They must have forgotten about it! Got it now, all sorted, cheers Buddy,
Trev.
