Yup its true that. The renaults or atleast the laguna has the same problem as 406
water getting into loom,

I remember first time I ever worked on a Laguna the car wouldn't start after the service...took a phone call to the dealers who told me you must unlock the door with the fob of the car won't start....I used the key

The clio was never too bad to fix after figuring it out, its got some silly problem areas such as the airbag ecu being situated underneath the cupholder.
Clip is a lot more confusing to use for diagnosis compared to pp2000.

At least they wont rust.
