H/u display.

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

It looks pretty cool to me, not a bad investment at 25 notes.
Looks like it has Mph scale on it, some cheapo ones only have Kph scales.
You could strip back the wires from the OBD plug and connect them to the other side of the socket to hide all wires from view and feed the USB end up to the device through the dashboard. Not sure if that would affect the use of a PP2000 in the socket though..

Have a looksy at some review of this HUDs.
I was thinking of getting one for me,some cheapo e bay stuff until i sae youtube review of it.
The black sticker that goes onto the glass wasnt sticky at all and that huge digital dials reminded me more on that old alarm clock.
Also,at nights, this sticks in your eyes like roman gladius :cheesy:

I dont know if it would work in the 406, its not too talkative with obd devices, i seen an advert for this machine a few months back, as an aftermarket HUD it looks like a well designed product, but its obviously a tad more expensive:

There are HUD apps available for smartphones, i had one on the iphone but never used it, it actually worked fairly well though.
