Not so stealers

Post by iybyisyl »

All, just wanted to let you know, had a good experience at a dealers last week. Phoned around a few local independents for a price on timing belt change for my 406 HDI 2.0, got 3 quotes ranging from 180 to 224. By chance really I phoned the Pug dealers, more in hope than expectation. Anyway turns out that the dealers in Coventry(of which there are 2) have reduced the labour rates for any pug 3 years and over. As a consequence they quoted me £180 inclusive. Quick as a flash she was there. Of course they did find "Soemthing else" but this turned out to only be the auxuillary belt, (20quid). So for just shy of £200 belts have been changed and for now im a happy bunny? Out of interest I phoned another dealer local to me they quoted 400+, so reckon ive got a good deal. Robin and Day they are called, look'em up highly recommend. Thx

I think this offer is limited to that specific dealer(of which there are two in Coventry). To be honest we played one off against the other slightly and drove the price down from £191, to £180.
Look on the net for their number and give them a call?
As I said originally, any Pug over 3 years old seems to get this allowance in temrs of the labour rate. Might even be worth travelling a bit?
Thx
