Hi there. Own a 406 hdi 110. Currently off road since last September, but going back on road this summer. Using mk4 astra at moment but need diesel power again, lol. Wee list to work through but will get there. Eg, rear wheels need camber ajusted, brake pipes under car need replacing, o/s/r caliper needs slides loosened off, fuel leaking in fuel cooler area, car slow to pull away from junctions, barely passed emmisions last year on m.o.t., hardly uses any oil or water though? Body in good nick so a bit attached to car now, wife thinks differently! Its like sitting in a limo compared to the astra.lol. just thought I would say hello.

Hi & welcome,

Brake pipes and fuel leak aren't something we hear of very often, so bad luck on those :(

Agreed they are a very, very pleasant place to sit.

Hi and welcome aboard. 8)

The 406 is a great mile muncher. As the others have said, brake pipes and the fuel leak aren't common, for the rest you'll no doubt find described somewhere on the forum.

There's frequently someone breaking a car on here, should you need a fuel cooler or some of the pipework.

2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
