That's a bit crazy (not you Bailes) but that means you could drive a potential hazard all the way across the country because it was 'booked in' somewhere.

Did you see the Silver ST on ebay that's actually IN Bridgend?

Also potentially dodgy, but you could go there, buy the car, and phone the AA / RAC and say you've broken down and need transporting to your local garage?

I'd use a car transport company, see if you can get a quote to get the car moved on a flatbed. There are plenty of them around, so lots of competition.

Sorry I think I've made a mistake, there's a silver one in 'Basingstoke' and somehow I read that as Bridgend, carry on..... :oops:
