Not sure if anyone has done this before but I was wondering if you could swap the bonnet and boot badges on a 53 plate estate for the newer style badge without having to get custom ones made

Hi, I'm guessing a 53 plate has the silver lion on the back, without the black surround like the older ones?

These are not interchangable as for some bizarre reason Peugeot decided to move the 2 holes the badges locate into. On the pre-53 the 2 holes are side by side, on the later 53 and 04 plate the holes are diagonal..

As for the front badge, I've only seen colour coded ones, or the removal of the badge. I can't picture how a new badge will fit on the older grill...

Yeah its the older one with no surround
Think some of the newer front badges are similar shapes just think I like the newer lion a little more

If I get chance, at the w/end I'll tack a photo of my tailgate & post it up
I've fitted a 307 lion badge, it covers the holes in the skin
