Debris could be seen along a stretch of the bank this morning, with the toppled lamppost, a first aid kit from the car and wooden fencing lying alongside parts of the buckled bumper.

The rear window of the vehicle was smashed, and a section of the Audi's distinctive badge, featuring four interlinked circles, was found around 10 feet away from where the car eventually stopped.

FFS next they'll be telling us what the driver had for breakfast and which school he attended including his grades

Is Bournemouth short of entertainment at the moment? those scratches in the concrete kerbstone will keep the locals gossiping for months

The article did appear to be written by a 15 year old trying too hard to impress his teacher...

However, its a lovely heartwarming story, makes a change from the drugs and murders...

I'm somewhat disappointed that the serious issue of polluting the river and distrubing the delicate eco-system has not been mentioned up to now.

Audi should be prosecuted, for supplying the source of pollutants and entrusting the vehicle* to (another) knobhead.
