On the outside: just the executive badges I think.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

Steelies and hubcaps......

There are no real distinguishing features on higher spec models apart from the badges, as RWB says, and nice alloys.

Oh, and let most of the other traffic over-take you... :cheesy:

May I ask why?

It's very amusing to look at the faces of audi drivers in your rear view mirror

I mustard mitt I enjoy the occasional* traffic light grand prix with much newer and more desirable* cars, it does make a mess of my tools in the boot though.

About 22 years ago, I had a Cortina that I paid £10 for at the local auctions - 2.0l pinto, 1.6 gearbox and a 1.3 rear axle...

I surprised many many cars with that beast..

Steelies without hubcaps, Rapier badges, wear a flat cap.

I can but remember a time when nobody knew what a BX 16Valve was.

This is kinda why I like my S40 T5 as there's so few of them around and apart from the twin eggsauces most people think it's a normal S40 :supafrisk: it's even in a Grey colour for extra dullness :cheesy:

To the OP if you really want to dull-down the 406 then a set of steelies with pound-shop wheel trims will look good* you could almost semi 'rat' the thing by making it look a bit shonky

I think it's kinda academic anyway - all 406's are seen as dead slow ancient bangers on their last legs, no need to differentiate.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
